一、課程簡介:

The course is designed to be an advancement of General Genetics. The contents of this course include the initiation of molecular genetics, chemistry of the gene and the expression and regulation of the genes. We have selected several special topics to compare the gene expression between prokaryotes and eukaryotes in terms of central dogma, which have already been studied in some depth and that illustrate the progress that is being made. We also describe the major concepts that define current understanding of the genetic information systems of development in eukaryotes. The course closes with the molecular mechanism of genetic mutation, which relates briefly how gene goes awry and what event it causes.
